Terms of Service

These terms cover browsing this site, placing an order and what happens if something goes wrong. By ordering you accept them.

Using this site

You are welcome to browse, compare and link to these pages. Please do not scrape the catalogue at volume, copy our descriptions wholesale, or attempt to interfere with the checkout. We may update pages, prices and availability at any time.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order creates a request rather than a completed contract; the contract forms when we send the dispatch notice. It is accepted when we confirm dispatch, not when the confirmation page appears.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and include no hidden handling fee. Card payments are authorised when the order is placed and captured at dispatch. If a price was displayed in error we will contact you before charging anything.

Product descriptions and availability

We describe items as accurately as we can, including what they are made of. Screens vary, so a colour can look slightly different in person. Where an item differs from its description, we treat it as our error and cover the return.

Limits of our responsibility

We are responsible for delivering what you ordered and for replacing or refunding it if we do not. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control, though we will chase them on your behalf.

Changes to these terms

We revise these terms from time to time, and the revision in force at the moment of your order is the one that governs it. Significant changes are flagged on this page so returning customers are not caught out. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page rather than applied silently.

Delivery, risk and ownership

When risk passes to you

Responsibility for the parcel passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us, or when the carrier records a delivery such as a signed handover or a safe-place drop you asked for. Once the carrier has recorded delivery — to you, to a neighbour you nominated, or to the safe place you specified — the risk moves to you, which is why we ask for an address where someone can receive it.

Ownership of the goods

The goods belong to you once the full amount has cleared. Where a payment is reversed after dispatch we are entitled to ask for the items to be returned or the value repaid.

Accounts, access and acceptable use

Accounts

An account is optional — you can order as a guest. If you do register, you are responsible for keeping the password private and for telling us promptly if you believe someone else has it.

What is not permitted

Please do not copy the catalogue in bulk, resell our photographs, probe the checkout for weaknesses, or place orders you have no intention of paying for. Where we see it, we stop it.

Linking and quoting

Linking to any page here is welcome, and you may quote a sentence or two with a credit and a link back. Anything larger — a whole description, a set of photographs, a copied page — requires our agreement in writing first.

If something goes wrong

Returns and cancellations

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by writing to us; after dispatch the returns policy applies, which gives you thirty days from delivery. Faulty or misdescribed items are always our responsibility.

Complaints

Complaints are answered by the person who can actually fix them. If the first reply does not resolve it, say so and we will escalate it internally and come back with a decision rather than another holding message.

Notices and contact

We contact you at the email address on the order, so keep it current. For anything you need in writing, use the contact address in the footer and allow a business day for our answer.

Questions about this page? Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one business day.
