This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and, where the courier requires it, a telephone number. If you create an account or join the newsletter we also hold the email address you gave us.
We use your information to complete the order you placed, to answer messages you send us, and to keep records we are required to keep. Marketing email is only sent to people who asked for it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
The site sets a small number of cookies: one to remember your cart, one to remember whether you have already answered the cookie banner, and basic analytics to count visits. None of them build an advertising profile, and blocking them in your browser will not prevent checkout from working.
A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf: the payment provider that processes card transactions, the courier that delivers your parcel, and the email service that sends order confirmations. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.
We keep order records only as long as we must for tax and accounting, and delete the rest. You can ask to see your data, have it corrected, or have it erased where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. Write to the address in the footer and we will answer within a few business days.
Write to our contact address and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, normally within a week. Corrections are made as soon as we have confirmed the right value: a delivery address that has changed, a name spelled differently, an email you no longer use. We answer these requests ourselves rather than routing them through a ticket form, so if you are unsure what to ask for, describe the problem and we will work out which record needs changing.
You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. Where an accounting rule applies, we explain which part must stay and for how long, then remove everything else. Unsubscribing from the newsletter never affects an order already placed.
We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. Fraud screening may pause a payment for review, but a person looks at it before an order is cancelled, and you can always ask us why a decision was made.
Because we ship internationally, your delivery details may be processed outside your own country by the carrier handling the parcel. That transfer is limited to the address and contact details the carrier needs to complete the delivery, and nothing else travels with it.
This shop is intended for adults. If you think a minor has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them without argument.
This page is the current statement of what we do. If it is revised, the revision appears here rather than in a separate notice, and orders already placed continue to be handled under the policy that applied when they were made.
Questions about privacy go to the address in the footer and are answered by a person, not a ticket queue. Replies come from someone who can see your order history, so you do not have to explain the situation twice.
